Kylie enjoyed gymnastics and it was a huge part of her childhood. She started her gymnastics career with Stampede City Gymnastic Club and her family has been involved with the club for the past 12 years. Both Kylie and her sister Natalie Wolfe have been members of our competitive team.
Kylie was a free spirit whose energy and spark touched everyone she met. Kylie had a great passion for her many friends, gymnastics, music, poetry, reading and her family. She was born in Calgary and recently graduated from Bowness High School.
Kylie was taken from this world at the young age of 18, in a horrific car crash, west of Olympia, Washington on July 19, 2009. It was through this tragedy that Stampede City Gymnastic Club with wishes of Kylie's family started a bursary to honor her memory and her love of gymnastics.
The Kylie Doxtater Bursary will help fund Stampede City Gymnasts, who without financial support, would not be able to participate in the sport of gymnastics. Funds will be dispersed based on the wishes of Kylie's family in conjunction with the SCGC trustees.
If you are interested in contributing to the bursary, please contact the administrative staff at Stampede City Gymnastic Club by phone at (403)275-4722
"We shouldn't cry because she's gone... we should smile because she was here."
